A Touch of Phage!

This summer semester, we had the pleasure of introducing phages to a new batch of Masters students at the University of Leipzig!

For the Molecular Medicine Module coordinated by Dr Claudia Claus, I held a lecture on Phage Biology. We also got to conduct a one week practical for 2 lucky students who got to work with phages, visualizing the different plaque morphologies and extracting phage genomic DNA.
