Personal Profile
Since completing my master’s thesis, I have been working as a Technical Assistant in the Antimicrobial Biotechnology group led by Dr. Belinda Loh at the Fraunhofer Institute for Immunology and Cell Therapy. I am currently awaiting a PhD position and actively applying for scholarships to further my expertise in antimicrobial biotechnology.
My dedication to the field of antimicrobial biotechnology stems from a deep concern for the global issue of antibiotic resistance, which I believe is an emerging pandemic. My fascination for phages, their mechanisms, and their potential as novel antimicrobials drives my research. I am passionate about exploring how phages and their proteins can be harnessed to combat bacterial infections and contribute to innovative solutions in antimicrobial therapy.
